About Us 

In 2009, Michael Hale started HLI with the goal of building the reputation of a talented, honest and quality-focused landscaping contracting company. It is with that goal in mind that we will sustain and grow through the years of economic ups and downs in Calgary. After 6 years with another well-established landscaping firm and completing the Landscape Gardener Apprenticeship Program at Olds College as a Journeyman Landscape Gardener, Mike started Hale Landscapes Inc. (HLI) and quickly started getting clients by word of mouth. Referrals continue to sustain much of HLI's business.

We recognize and appreciate the difficulty of choosing a contractor when undertaking any construction project. We want our clients to be assured that when we sign a contract, that project will get our full attention from start to finish. Rest easy knowing that we are fully licensed, insured, bonded and in good standing with WCB. Our past clients will attest to our level of service and quality of work, we have references available.

Following the design process, we will work closely with our clients, with a rigorous attention to detail, to complete the project in a timely manner. For smaller projects, where a design may not be necessary, we are happy to guide clients through the consult, quoting and construction process.
